Lizzie Shackney currently serves as the Director of Analytics and Research at Texas RioGrande Legal Aid (TRLA). TRLA provides free civil legal services to residents in 68 Southwest Texas counties, and represents migrant and seasonal farm workers throughout the state and in six other southern states. In her role, she brings statistical analysis, geospatial analysis, and mapping visualizations to TRLA's work in various practice areas, most commonly housing, community development, and environmental law.

Previously, Lizzie worked as a field organizer with the Beto for Texas Senate campaign, an AmeriCorps member with Impact America in Birmingham, AL, and a communications intern at Voice of the Experienced (VOTE) in New Orleans, LA. In her spare time, she assists low-income folks in the Austin area with income tax preparation, writes non-fiction essays, and has recently gotten very into baking sourdough bread.

Lizzie received her B.A. from Wesleyan University.
